Zone Chart
Zone1 (East end, hallway outside the chamber): Double doors leading in to the hallway can be shut and bolted from the inside of the chamber.:
OCCUPY: Midnorton

Zone2 (Eastern half of the audience chamber): This is the main floor of the chamber, where all of the cultists have convened. It is literally a throng of men, and so moving into Zone3 would require an AGI check of 25 or more to avoid being pulled down and trampled by the crowd:
OCCUPY: Valaren, Skyler

Zone3 (Western half of the audience chamber): Here there is a raised platform, where there is an altar beneath a giant golden statue that is suspended in mid-air.:
OCCUPY: Masked CULT LEADER, Pregnant woman, Artimus, Garvan

I haven't seen any of the rules being playtested, but I've read the forum at WotC on those that are playtesting it.

WotC says the new system will allow people to play any version of D&D they like. But almost all of the people playtesting have stated the new system is focusing on the 1E/2E AD&D version.

I find it funny they are going back to the most profitable version of D&D and longest running version. But it also seems to be in time for the reprints of the AD&D PHB, DMG, and MM later this month.

I'm thinking about getting them, though it will cost about $100 for all three books. I have the original books, but they are in poor condition. Many years of use, especially during my school years.

Yeah I find it really funny that they're doing the reprints, but the old-school movement is huge, and many people are revisiting 1e AD&D because it had a lot more flavour at its heart.

I personally picked up all the old 1e AD&D books about a year ago: PHB, DMG, MM, MMII, Fiend Folio, and Dungeoneers Survival Guide... as well as some of the original GREEN character sheets from TSR!

1e is actually really what I wanted to use for EIB, but I decided to go with a more stripped-down system instead, to avoid 2-week long combats *Cough, 4e D&D Roots of Legend*...hence, minisix.

hehe... yeah. 4E combat gets way to long. But then they did base the entire edition around combat instead of roleplaying.

I like tactical combat, but it shouldn't be the main focus. And with online games, either PbP or Chatroom, combat is better with simplified rules.
