Zone Chart
Zone1 (East end, hallway outside the chamber): Double doors leading in to the hallway can be shut and bolted from the inside of the chamber.:
OCCUPY: Midnorton

Zone2 (Eastern half of the audience chamber): This is the main floor of the chamber, where all of the cultists have convened. It is literally a throng of men, and so moving into Zone3 would require an AGI check of 25 or more to avoid being pulled down and trampled by the crowd:
OCCUPY: Valaren, Skyler

Zone3 (Western half of the audience chamber): Here there is a raised platform, where there is an altar beneath a giant golden statue that is suspended in mid-air.:
OCCUPY: Masked CULT LEADER, Pregnant woman, Artimus, Garvan

Hello felllows,

Those of you that were with us for Roots of Legend remember the roundtable affairs, and I'd like to bring them back into play as a means of reaffirming and strengthening our game here.

Here's the gist: I'll pose 4 questions to be answered by all PC's, and as a reward you'll receive GDP and experience for your feedback. We will do this once a month.

Without further ado:

1) How do you feel about the pacing of the game? Is it moving quickly enough for you?

2) How do you feel about your character's ability to express themselves via roleplay? Have there been enough situations? Are you able to identify with your character?

3) How do you feel about the combat/roleplay ratio so far?

4) If there was one thing you would change about EIB, what would it be?

Please get your posts up ASAP!

-LK

The pace is ideal for me. Not too fast or too slow. Things should stay the same.

My character is the stealthy sniper type, which there has been several opportunity for. He is also somewhat a "Lady's Man" but we haven't been playing long enough for him to take up that 'profession' but 'sexy' things are more fun with patience. Razz

It is good so far, we have combat with good roleplaying events in between.

At the moment, I can't think of anything. But if I do, I'll be sure to let you know.

1) I like the pacing so far. Sometimes I feel like we spend too long doing insignificant things that could be summed up in one post, but for the msot part its good.

2) Deffff, love Garvan, good setting to roleplay him in I find.

3) So far so good, would like to see some more challenging battles though.

4) See above. Ratio is good, but again, would like to see more challenging battles! I think we have only actually been attcked like once haha.

1) How do you feel about the pacing of the game? Is it moving quickly enough for you?

The pace in recent posts has been much improved;
a little slow but by no means a problem, lately I've noticed you've
been fitting what may have taken two posts into one. I think this is a
fantastic change and will help keep the story move
theintensity up.

2)
How do you feel about your character's ability to express themselves
via roleplay? Have there been enough situations? Are you able to
identify with your character?

Artimus stands on his own and i've enjoyed rping him, however there hasn't been a clear dramatic foil or antagonism to really test our characters persona's, values, resolve or goals. you're a kinder DM than I am, I enjoy finding my player buttons and pushing them, or exploiting their personality traits to get them into sticky situation. I've already said too much Smile

3) How do you feel about the combat/roleplay ratio so far?

No complaints, LK you are a master and commander.

4) If there was one thing you would change about EIB, what would it be?

I'm partial to big enemies with lofty goals, big personalities, devious plots and notoriously difficult to kill. also complicated adversaries that are ambivalent, that really call in to question right and wrong. I also really enjoy region changing interactions. the feeling that player actions alter the world around them. the possibility of gaining fame or infamy.

I have a huge amount of faith in you and your abilities as a DM, don't be afraid to take some risks, if it gets messy, we can always clean it up

Thank you for all your dedication and hard work

1. Just started. But from the last half-hour... things seem to have moved quite fast. Not sure if that'll continue to happen.

2. I'm happy.

3. Still happy. I encountered a rat! I squish rat. I eat rat.

4. Not sure. Still waiting Smile

Also hi guys, i'm new here
